We often refer to the Blessed Mother as Our Lady. St. Maximilian Kolbe was in the habit of calling her "My Lady, My Queen". She is the perfect example of persevering in the spiritual life. She was free from original sin and concupiscence, but, though she never gave in, she was still tempted. As the Queen of Heaven and Earth, as Queen of the Angels, as our Queen, she can command the legions of Angels to help us fight this interior revolution against sin and temptation. Every time we are set to conquer our faults and sinful tendencies we will experience resistance and temptations to give up the fight. It is here especially that Our Lady can help us. Call to her in these moments of trial and she will fly to you as a loving mother to her child in need. Ask her assistance and guidance in ridding yourself of your sinful tendencies. Ask her to help you resist temptation. She is there to help us walk this journey of faith and to help us fight the concupiscence that would lead us astray.
Let us never be afraid to call upon Our Mother, Our Lady, and Our Queen to help us, especially in our greatest need and to fight with us in our daily revolution of prayer!
